'kay so my timid little kitty who I've named Chibi 'little' has just gotten the weirdest habit that I've never before seen. His tail has a vibrate setting. Yeah folks, you read that right, my cat's tail vibrates.
Yesterday I was on my laptop when he came by and started begging. Not unusual from him when it's a quiet night, he really seems to like this new brand of cat food so sometimes when he asks I'll give him an extra serving at night. Well last night he asked for a serving of cat food and he led me to the pantry as he normally would but then I noticed his tail was shaking.
Not swaying, not swishing, his tail WAS on a vibrate setting. I went O.O and ran for my laptop like the over protective doosh mama to a fuzz ball that I am and started googling for what was wrong with him.
Turns out a cat's tail will in fact 'vibrate' when they are extremely excited about something. Like Kitty Crack apparently.
Finding out it was a sign of excitement I decide to try this again. He was sitting on the floor near my computer looking dejected for not getting kitty crack. I gave him a few snuggles and he got happy again and led me back to the pantry where I got a clean kitty dish and served some wet cat food.
Yes, his tail went back on vibrate. That cat food is kitty crack I tell you. Doesn't seem that addictive to my other cat, she'll eat it she enjoys it but she doesn't go nutso like he does. Such a weird little kitty.
